Company Audition Saturday, February 10, 2024

Audition at the School of American Ballet in New York City, NY

Registration: 12:00 pm

Class 12:30 to 2:00pm


Please bring the following:

Dance Photo, CV, and $30 Audition Fee.


Auditions will be held in the form of a class.


No advance preparation is needed.


Please be prepared to go en pointe.

Monk in the Ballet Carmina Burana by Atlantic City Ballet

Auditions can be done in a variety of ways.

  1. Company class auditions: Company class is held Monday through Friday at the Atlantic City Ballet studio, at Boardwalk Hall, beginning September 2022. Please call our office to schedule a company class audition. Bring your resume, dance photo (Full body & Head Shot) and $30 audition fee.
  2. Mailing Instructions: Audition materials can be mailed to the address below. No phone calls please! Due to the high volume of audition packets we receive, review of audition materials may take up to 4 weeks. If you would like to confirm receipt of your audition packet, please send an email to info@acballet.org. Please include the $30 audition fee in your packet. Thank you.
  3. Open Call Auditions: The company holds open call auditions in various cities including New York, Rome, and London. Please check the website or our social media platforms for the next open call audition.


Video Audition

Please send CV and video link to ballerina@acballet.org

Please include performance experience, training, current ballet company/studio name, height, citizenship and all contact information as well as your headshot and 2-3 dance photos in your CV 

A single video file, no more than 15 minutes, containing all the elements below to be uploaded to a video sharing site such as YouTube, Vimeo etc. with dancer’s name in the video title.

•Barre 
Tendus, Adagio, Grand battements

•Center (pointe shoes for ladies) 
Adagio, Pirouette, Grand Allegro (including tour for men) and Fouetté for ladies/A la seconde turn for men

•Partnering (if possible)
