Atlantic City Ballet needs your help. We are delighted to announce that in past three years, Atlantic City Ballet was awarded a General Operating Support grant by the New Jersey Council on the Arts. We are deeply honored to have received these prestigious grants. But Atlantic City Ballet still needs your assistance in order to meet our financial needs.

For 26 years the Atlantic City Ballet, formerly the Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre, has lead our community in the celebration of dance enriching our lives with breath-taking productions and educational programs.

ACB has established itself as a cornerstone of Atlantic City's cultural life. Our outreach educational and camp programs have introduced thousands of children to the world of the performing arts. We now have a home at Boardwalk Hall, which has been bid head way for the company. This gives us a place to do showings and a rehearsal space.

Our repertoire is exciting ranging from classical full length productions to new innovative original works. The driving force behind the Atlantic City Ballet's artistic vision is our Founder, Artistic Director, and Choreographer, Phyllis Papa. She has created ballets such as Dracula which has captured a different audience and has introduced new arts lovers. ACB's The Nutcracker continues as the biggest show in town during the holidays and a treasured family tradition.

As a private non-profit organization, ACB looks to the community to assist us in putting our productions on the stage as well as reaching hundreds of southern New Jersey school children through our community outreach programs.

Our costumes and sets are beautiful. But they are in need of repair yearly. New Costumes and sets are expensive. For us to put on top rate productions we need new costumes and scenery. We can not do a new ballet many times because of the production costs.

The Annual Capital Drive covers about 40% of the bills - from artists' fees to theatre rental. Ticket sales pay for only a portion of the costs of bringing dance of this caliber to our community as individual donors, you're investing in the cultural vitality that distinguishes our community.
Sponsor A Dancers Salary

It is now possible to adopt a dancer with helping to support their salary. One company members' salary for a standard 34-week contract is $13,600.00. The cost of pointe shoes for a single female company member is $3400.00. If you or your organization sponsored one ballet dancer, these efforts and the future endeavors of the company would not only step up the process but will aid the company to excel while continuing the works in progress.By helping the dancers with salary support we can then do more free performances for schools, seniors and the community.
